I wouldn't likw to jump to conclusions but it looks like this might have
been caused by a renegade unfiltered phone I was unaware of. Filtered it
and I've had no problems since. The UTV guy said that 90% of such
disconnections are caused by porr extension cables, most of the remainder
are ordinary unfiltered modems, phones etc.
The other issues are far less important when one doesn't have to worry
about disconnections.
