I am in the process of setting up a Linux Server is a mainly Window Site
and plan to use Samba to share folders with Windows Users, but want to
control/limit access to certain users.
We have a Windows Domain Controller (Win 2K) and want to use this to
authenticate users
I did try to google, but most every thing I find is based on the premise
that the Linux box is the domain controller.
What do I need to configure on the Linux side to allow and control the
access of the windows domain users to shares on the samba server?
Linux in this case is RedHat Enterprise Linux WS Version 3
Cheers
Gerard
