Well, why leave Apple out of the spotlight? :)
Is the MacOS dying or has the new unix based OSX brought new life
to the platform? Certainly more techie people I know are buying
Mac hardware. It's still proprietary, but under the hood you've
got most of the open source apps you see in Linux: Apache, PHP,
OpenSSH, Samba, OpenLDAP etc all installed as part of the system.
So lots of LAMP people are looking at it.
But how much have apple contributed back to the community?
There's still no quicktime player or iTunes for Linux...
