You won't believe this, but after penning the above witticism
my laptop died!
I had forgotten about the Great SysAdmin in the Sky.
I thought at first it was just that the battery was exhausted,
but I plugged in the mains adaptor, and it was still blank.
So I thought maybe the adaptor had gone, and tried a spare adaptor.
Still no joy.
To cut a long story short, I changed the battery,
and the laptop came back to life.
It had just been a warning from Root
not to take the name of SysAdmin in vain.
So I would like to withdraw my impertinent remarks about my betters.
RAID is an essential addition to the microwave and VCR,
and everyone should buy a Lindows machine at WalMart.
