[ILUG] how to really help opensource

[ILUG] how to really help opensource

Frank Murphy lists2004 at utvinternet.com
Wed Jul 28 11:51:58 IST 2004

Have convinced a number of people I know to switch to OO.o
the ability to do *.pdf was the clincher,
most of my friends through hints have switched to Firefox.

Have brought Linux up at board meets.
Have currently put FC2 as a dual with XP on a box so they can have a looksee.
Converting the server this week from NT to FC2.

Hope to have the ECDL through Linux in place for 2005.

The C&G may be more difficult, because they supply some client\server soft.

I'd like to prevent the MOUS (move over useless soft) from being taught.

Frank
