This is way _WAY_ OT, but I wanted to follow up on this bit anyway. Have
a look at the Eircom pages at the front of your phone book. (I just
looked this up again -- it's on page 10 of the phone book I have here).
It says Eircom will install the line when you require it, or within 10
days of that time. If they don't do this, you can claim 2 months free
rental. It might be worth following up on it to try and get your 2
months out of them.
