or, say, email in general. If your email isn't encrypted then it's not even
close to being private, whether you use hotmail, gmail, an ISP's server or
your own servers. Of course this is untrue (to a reasonable degreee) if your
servers are on your own LAN and all your email stays inside that LAN.
