Q: What is an *IMAP* folder.
A: Depends on what your using for storing your mail.
1. UW-IMAP - An mbox
2. Courier IMAP - Maildir format
3. Cyrus IMAPD - internal database format.
If you want a script that does this for cyrus imap I can send you one when I
get home.
