[ILUG] yum mirroring...

ok, so there are now two of us hanging out behind this wet piece
of string the denizens of #linux call my excuse of a net connection.[0]

so i'd like to mirror stuff we'd both use.

so, has anyone mirrored yum repositories? i have the isos, and i have
the updates. if possible i'd like to use them as a base for building
such a mirror. anyone done this?

in addition i read esr's little document on getting multimedia working
on fedora. no anthropology comments[1]... anyway it lists some other
repositories:

    http://www.frech.ch/howto/HOWTO/html_single/Fedora-Multimedia-Installation-HOWTO/

so if i can avoid reinventing the wheel here, anyone worked through this
doc?

kevin

[0] personally i call it the net connection i have because the admins
of some isp's (*cough* n-------e *cough*) spend too much time going
to concerts written in low level langugaes...
[1] see the lotr review on his blog. and i can't provide a link because
then i'd have to look at it.
