[ILUG] random key repeats on compaq/hp nx9010 laptop...

i have fedora rc1 installed on an nx9010. no updates yet since i'm
still downloading them. arg.

anyway, some keypresses are causing key repeats - and this is true on
the laptop keyboard as well as an external one connected via the ps2
port. i've also noticed that sometimes garbage ends up being sent as if
from the keyboard. for instance doing a ctrl-alt-f1 to switch to a text
console will cause it. you need to send a ctrl-u to clear the login
prompt input before entering your login.

any ideas for this?

kevin
