[ILUG] OT: CDROM recognised with Fedora not with WinXP

[ILUG] OT: CDROM recognised with Fedora not with WinXP

Hi.
As above.
Some kind of Bad Thing happened - a dodgy usb stick cased WinXP to go
Blue Screen (in fact rebooted).

Since then while under Fedora Core 1.0 (I have dual boot system) cdrom &
external zip drive work fine;
under WinXP Pro data CDROMs are only recognised if present in drive at
time of power-up.

I know it's OT but I only use WinXP for Morrowind so don't shoot me...

Any suggestions?

John
