I have the same device under 2.6.3 but I do not use OSS compatibility,
mine works flawlessly. It should simply be a matter of modprobing the
snd-intel8x0 module and it "should" work. However, I've seen an early
Centrino notebook (from Dell, who else) that has the same device but
does not work.
