The multiple-users-into-one-POP-box situation doesn't work well with
many mailing lists where the To: field, or indeed any message header, is
not that of the intended recipient. If, for whatever reason, you ARE
stuck with this situation, you could get the MTA that accepts the
incoming message to add an 'Envelope-to' header to the email before
putting it in the single POP mailbox. I believe this is easy to do in
Exim (envelope_to_add = true in exim.conf) but I've never done it
myself. You can then fetchmail the mailbox and then sort it out
according to the Envelope-to headers.
