-> Configure
-> Advanced
-> Ethernet Bridge
-> Enable Bridging on Port [x]
As Glen says, this should be what you need, and can then run
PPPoE from the Smoothwall box. You will need a static IP as in
bridging mode the router is no longer a router, and is not
allocated an IP address from Eircom.
If you have success could you report back please and let me know
what was involved in setting up PPPoE and any gotchas, as I will
need to do this at some stage next week. We are waiting on a
static IP at the moment.
