[ILUG] Commission concludes on Microsoft investigation, imposes conduct remedies and a fine

[ILUG] Commission concludes on Microsoft investigation, imposes conduct remedies and a fine

Indeed... For example, last night I was once again listening to Ogg
encoded music on one Linux system, to which my speakers are attached,
while the the interface was on the monitor of a totally different PC
(also running Linux) allowing me to completely control of what tracks I
was playing, volume, etc. by 'remote control.' All using XMMS. Nice,
simple, effective.

Playback is as good as Windows. Controlling it is as simple as Windows
(and actually looks very similar to WinAmp.) Being able to remote
control it from a remote machine is far far better than windows.

There are alternatives to Windows Media Player - lots of them. Many are
just as good and/or better. I never understood why people wanted to use
Windows + Windows Media Player in the first place... :-)

	Regards,
