	   I believe this is mostly due to the fact that the yum mirrors seems 
to be woefully out of date. There are partial mirrors etc. all over the 
place - so what you are seeing happen is that you are getting a 
corrupt/partial download of postfix - which the yum on your machine 
detects as bad (does not match the MD5 sum) - so it goes to another 
mirror and downloads another copy of postfix, which in your case seems 
to be okay (matches MD5 sum) and so it installs it.
