Well, one way or the other, the people who work on Linux and other
Free Software have to earn a crust. Without money flowing by some
means (sponsorship, by indirect employment or direct) Free Software
would not be possible. The support model appears the most credible,
as you can build 'brand recognition', which can not be directly
undercut, as sale of media can be. (eg see cheapbytes).
