So its very like mandrake10 (powerpack). When I install a desktop, its
annoying that I am forced to do all the above post install. It really
feels like I'm configuring a windows workstation!!!
MDK10 PP was a very welcome change, so much so that I "upgraded" both my
workstations to it.

Thats a brilliant idea. I mean, all the keyboards I use have windows
keys. So why not use them as they were supposed to? "Windows E" to open
say nautilus, "windows F" for find etc.
