Hi,

I believe that you have found yourself up against an unreasonable man 
and that convincing him otherwise would be a tremendous task.
 From my experience, talking to such people about such matters, 
depending on what sort of character of a man you are, will either be 
just a waste of time, or, in the worst case scenario, will grow you an 
ulcer and get you fired from the job.
