Yeah.
I'm with Kevin, Tim, Paul and Connor here, nothing wrong with showing a little
iniative and mailing the list.
I'd love to be in a position to offer something, as it stands I have an entire
vanload full of illegal immigrants to exploit, but, I have no aversion to using
nationals for that either.
Now that Kevin mentions the word 'teacher' it puts a thought into my mind to
suggest trying to get a teacher in Secondary school(x) to let err.. Keith,
write some code for a school website? Mostly non-private school websites bite,
in a very serious way... and it would be great politics with his teachers, to
make the website look good... not to mention give them the impression he was
one of those whiz kid types, they've seen on TV, who hack the pentagon and such.
Yeah, I'd be asking the Science teacher/Vice Principal whoever, it would be
possible to write "a script driven db layer for our static html pages".
Either they understand what that means and say yes, or they don't understand
what that means, but, think it sounds technical and allow him to do it.
Elsewise, I'd be looking at targetting some of those random companies who have
@eircom.net or @iol.ie email addresses, there must be some business locally
like that, and offer to write up a low cost website.
