You are using MS poxy server with NTLM authentication, solution:
aps098 (and export http_proxy & ftp_proxy : port) or latest mozilla 1.6 ?
which supports NTLM auth.
All dep[ends on your needs. I would go for aps098, google search, there is
a sourceforge project.
