I have infrared in my laptop and have been told that my telephone (Sony
Ericsson T68i) functions with Linux synchronizing etc. and, hopefully,
functions as a modem. If anyone can help me configure infrared in the
laptop and use the phone to synchronize or function as a modem I would
be very appreciative. I am a newbie and am still slowly configuring
Mandrake 10.0 on my laptop. I am extremely delighted to have avoided
viruses for the last week, having no need to use Windows XP at all!!!!
My external floppy is not yet functional nor are the DVD player programs
(and I have tried three), but I am not too worried about these as the Cd
is functional for reading and writing. Lots to learn and lots to do yet.
Also my laptop has a conceptronic usb bluetooth adaptor which allow me
to connect via bluetooth. If anyone has any knowledge of whether Linux
supports bluetooth yet please advise me. I have not seen any bluetooth
drivers for Linux on the Conceptronic website.
Step by step basic instructions would be very helpful..
