I've used a couple of these progs, and guessing that what software is best
to use for snapshot uploading to website, the best ones I've found are:

1. motion
http://motion.sourceforge.net/ very good for motion detection. Has an nice
feature to allow you to create a mask to place over your image so that it
only detects motion in a specified window. Also allows for creation of
time lapse mpeg films... command line prog, with a heap load of features.

2. camstream
http://www.smcc.demon.nl/camstream/ A gui prog. Nice set of features. I
used it to take snapshots of our bitch whelping and upload pics to
website. Watched by loads of people worldwide, I was a proud dad that day
;-)

Regards,

R
