Well, I'm no expert, and certainly not a Lawer, but this is my general
understanding of the differences, and easy to explain to the lay person.
I'm sure there are many nuances that are missed in this simplification, but I
think it gives a decent idea of where to draw the lines between patent and
copyright without trying to invoke 'freedom of speach' issues which make you
look like a raving loonie rather than a concern voter.
Feel free to pass this advice to anyone you think might benifit from it.
