Well, twiddle compiler optimisations as much as they like (and adjust
swappiness until they're blue in the face) they still won't make the
donated PCs the Arranmore people got run KDE/Gnome + OO + Mozilla at
anything like a reasonable pace. Of course reasonable is such a broad
word . . .
