[ILUG] Simple Socket sniffer?

[ILUG] Simple Socket sniffer?

Hi,
I'm looking for a utility for Linux that will:
1. Listen on a given port
2. Forward all data received on this port to another given host/port
3. ..and show the data it is passing on.

I guess kinda like port forwarding in an SSH tunnel, without the
encryption.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's something already in standard distros,
I just don't know which tool to use.

TIA,
Dermot.
