Do any of you out there have one of these? I am in the middle of trying
to configure one for somebody and it is a nightmare. I need to upgrade
its firmware but you can't just download it from their web site - oh no,
that would be too easy. You must first become a registered user of
mysmoothwall.com and then register your product before you can download
new firmware.
Well, at first attempt at registration I failed, because their system
mailed me an authorisation which it now believes is invalid.
So, I made a new account and that seems to work, at least as far as
logging in is concernd. However, I still can't register the product as
it seems it's already registered - which is a mystery to me. The site
suggests that "Your reseller may have done this" but this I can't check
until Monday.
So, would anyone happen to have a firmware image for that device kicking
around?
