Which is kind of ironic when you think of the fact that Mary Harney's party
basically has *no mandate* from the people to be in government. What sort of
percentage of the vote do the PDs actually normally get ? <= 2% give or take a
percentage point.
Ha, ha. I'm sure if the PDs were actually kicked out of government, all of
those business types who love the PDs would have to mount an insurrection in
the Ireland, to safeguard... Water taxes[1], bulldozing of Carrick Mines to
make way for the M50[2]... oh yeah and software patents[3].
[1]Part of Mary Harney's election campaign a few years ago.. promising "water
taxes" if elected ... which, you guessed it the PDs *weren't*.
