Not sure if you mentioned whether or not you had a driver for this camera.
If not, crack it open, and take down some likely looking strings of
numbers on largish looking chips on the Webcam's PCB.
It's quite possible that while a "Typhoon" webcam mightn't have a
driver, that another camera with the exact same chipset does, or has a
partial driver. Things frequently get resold in Europe with a different
naming convention then the US/Asian versions, so check the chipset, not
the brand name.
Otherwise assuming you have a driver for the camera, xawtv should _just
work_.
