question to the list generates an answer faster, but in saying that
sometimes people don't consider if the person is new to linux/BSD ....
Also what I have learned is that composing the question so if you are
new to xzy then saying that in the message somewhere usually helps :).
I hope you don't get discouraged because of one what people said, I
always take thing, that are said on mailing lists with a pinch of salt.
