Nobody here has a problem with newcomers not knowing where to look, and
as a result posting questions. Nobody has a _serious_ problem with
failing to mention, on a Linux user group mailing list, "Oh, by the way,
just in case it matters, this is actually on FreeBSD".
Ultimately, we don't _even_ have a problem with people responding
arrogantly when it's pointed out that they've created confusion, wasted
people's time, and shot themselves in the foot by omitting vital
information, either. We just edit them out of our lives, if they
maintain their attitude problem.
But I really think it's always nicer, for all concerned, to not have to
do that.
