I buy most of mine in Germany :-)

Ireland is quite expensive for hardware, and every other blooming 
thing. You'll have seen people mention www.komplett.ie which is the 
same (Norwegian) company as www.komplett.de - prices aren't bad, but 
then you have to pay carriage. I suggest stocking up before you leave 
Germany :-)
