Yes, you are indeed quite wrong in making that assertion.  ;->

If this had been a Solaris user who caused needless confusion and waste
of time when the questioner failed to mention that it's all happening on
Solaris, as opposed to the default reasonable expectation that questions
on a LUG list concern Linux -- pretty much the same annoyed comments
would have followed.

No thanks to _him_, there was significant wasted time and effort getting
there.  Thus the point, which you continue to ignore.

So, we're going to refer to you, in the future, all questioners who
misleadingly omit vitally necessary facts and then verbally abuse the
people he screwed up towards, right?
