[ILUG] Good card for war driving?

[ILUG] Good card for war driving?

Hi guys,

Been arsing around with an orinoco silver(hermes chipset), a usb
gps and kismet... its worked well to an extent, but the found the
orinoco driver (both latest release and CVS) to be unstable when in
monitor mode. Are there any 802.11b cards out there that have drivers that
work **solidly** in monitor mode, and have an ext. antenna connector?
Anyone point me to a paticular model number so I can go looking on ebay?

Someone on #linux advised using the hostap drivers, but I couldnt get them
to work.

Thanks

Ewan
