What are the advantages/disadvantages of running dhcp on a little home LAN?
The issue arose because I had (have) problems with NetworkManager,
and I was asked why I wasn't running dhcp on my LAN,
with the implication that this was the normal thing to do.
I'm referring of course to an internal LAN, not my connection to the internet.
