PXE can be a bit confusing initially, yes - the syslinux docs are 
pretty good though. But if you've configure it once, you can just 
leave it in your dhcpd.conf forever - quite useful :)

Customise the config file and you can get it to give you a choice of 
distros to install too.

PXEgrub is reasonably neat too.
