Are you saying that the IP address that you have under SuSE i.e
62.231.60.201, is not the one that IrishBB assigned you? If so, then
that's clearly the issue. You can change this with Yast by going to
Network Devices -> Network Card and give it a fixed address instead of
DHCP. The "Routing" option lets you set the gateway, the "Host name and
name server" option lets you set the DNS servers.

If the IP address setup is ok, try pinging know IP addresses like
193.1.31.98 (linux.ie) to see if it's just a nameserver issue.
