An ISO download pulls down everything... a net install/upgrade
only pulls down the bits you need - so your current approach
is 6 hours download plus 30 minutes install... the net install
won't take 6.5 hours to run because you won't be doing a download
of everything.

However - for two, or three installs the benefits of the first
download are huge - as the CD can be used for subsequent
installs without incurring the download penalty.
