Fedora checks the CDs before installation.
I've never known a CD that passed the check fail to work.
I had a network or machine failure last night
while downloading FC-3 disk4.
Incidentally, I have 5 machines (or 6, if martha lives long enough)
to upgrade to FC-3, so network installation would be impractical anyway.
