After doing a Google
http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial_s&q=script+to+shut+down+server+after+rsync&btnG=Search&meta=

& archive
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.linux.ie%20script+to+shut+down+server+after+rsync

also checked rsync site.
http://samba.anu.edu.au/ftp/rsync/rsync.html

I haven't come across any script, which could power down a server after
completing a local scheduled rsync sdb==>sdc.
Poweredge 1500sc currently FC2, (soon FC3, or I may leave ug till FC4 comes
along)

The server will be unattended with neither local or remote access to it.

Frank
