I'd recommend having a poke around http://www.opensourcecms.com/

The one thing to be aware of though is security implications.
Phpnuke/postnuke are infamous for bugs either in the main scripts or in
modules.

Typo3 is excellent, but is not for the faint-hearted.

Mambo is very nice also
