Point 3 says "Unless your PC is brand new, you should download these patches to keep the operating system up-to-date and therefore protected as much as possible against viruses. " Service Pack 2 for Windblows XP has about at least 6 patches available already... That is bad advice. I even had a guy in our office once telling me he uninstalled his virus scanner on his machine because it was brand new and nobody could hack into it!
I can't believe a government website would have such things published on it which were obviously not thought through correctly.
