All manufacturers lie about such things.

e.g.: My YZF-R6 is factory quoted as having 117 Bhp, when in reality its
closer to 105 Bhp - just got off the blower to the bike shop talking about
that exact subject. Now she is booked in for a few hours on the dyno ;-0
