FWIW, I've found it to be more reliable than ACPI software suspend in my
experience, presumably because the hardware manufacturers make sure their
hardware can do it with their BIOS.
It can be tricky to set up; I had to overwrite my WinXP partition with
Win98 to set up the partition on my Thinkpad T40 ;)
