And that was a case of someone not only quoting an entire mail 
needlessy, but also a big silly "If you read this email all your base 
belong to CardBASE, and your first born too" signature - could you 
not trim your replies?

If you havnt added text within the first 40 lines, its a pretty good 
sign you probably need to trim some of what you're replying to...
