Given the trashing that motion got at the AGM where on behalf of someone 
who wanted it passed but could not get there I made sure it was 
seconded, and then said ahh sure what the * and voted for it also :)

I thing altough it got nominated and seconded there was exactly one vote 
for it, but hey if you want to be involved get down to the next 
committee meeting and listen in and chip in with whatever you have to 
offer.
As for noise, personally I welcome it, I think it is a good sign that 
there has been some light hearted banter on the list and not a flame war.

Of course we do note that there is no sibscribtion service and so 
therefore it would be with great difficulty that we could provide an 
unsibscription service.

With all that in mind, it is almost time to plan the weekend :)
