I just have to pipe in, as I felt the members were not helping this individual.

if we all refer back to the OP "[ILUG] please unsibscribe"
He does not want help to "Un subscribe" he wants us, the ILUG,
to help him in his endeavor not to talk to his family.

If you break down his plea :
UN= Negative (as I don't believe he means the World Body)
Sib= Sibling http://www.thefreedictionary.com/sib
Scribe=  Writer http://www.thefreedictionary.com/scribe


So he needs a walk through for disabling:
Sendmail, Postix, or other as yet unknown MTA.
