I've found the mag to be quite good. The content is usually of a
higher standard than the PC Format type, which seems to have grown
little since the Amiga Format days.
Eben Moglen writes for it quite frequently. The mag is pitched more,
as it says, the developer, particularly the implementor level. You can
see some of the content at
<http://www.linuxuser.co.uk/>, including some pdf's of some of the
guest writers. Tutotials in Blender and the like, in the magazine, are
not available online.
The steep price is, obviously the killer.
