a wiki provides a web accessible method of editing web pages.  it also
provides a consistent ui (from both editing and reading perspectives)
and enforces a structure on content creators.

cvs is a great tool for source code management.  and while it can be
used as a cms, it isn't ideal for that.

there are a number of other lugs using wiki's.  i don't see any using
cvs - though it is hard to search on.  there's a load of experience we
can take on from the experience of other lugs.

after november 2nd, i'd be glad to set up a wiki for linux.ie.
