I'm not knowledgeable enough to give a tutorial in any Linux stuff that
would not be done better by someone else, but I do know my HTML and CSS.
I'd like to give the Linux.ie code an overhaul.
For instance, I just spent about half an hour recreating the OSDN-style
header, and reduced the needed code from 2443B to 404B (not including
headers and CSS includes).
When that's applied site-wide, it should speed up the users' rendering,
and also reduce any bandwidth used.
If this is wanted, I can continue and do a full rebuild.
My example is at http://verens.com/files/linux.ie/
Note that the conversion is not exact - there are pixels of difference,
and a · is in front of the first link, but that can be ironed out
if necessary.
